First Quarter Meeting is Jan. 21

 

The first quarter General Membership Meeting of the Des Moines Musicians’ Association, Local 75, American Federation of Musicians, will be held 5:00 pm, Sunday, January 21 at King Ying Low’s, 223 4th St. (1 block west of the Civic Center).  If you’ve never attended a meeting, maybe you’d like to attend this one.  You can meet other musicians and make your suggestions and opinions heard.  Dinner is provided.

The first part of the Members section of the Local 75 website www.dmmusicians.com is now available.  To access it, click on the Members Only section on the home page.  Then log in with the following information:

User Name: dmmusic         Password: local75

(Please note that you must enter this information in lower case)

Click on the Resources for our members link for access to web sites where you can learn about discounts and special offers to members of the AFM/AFL-CIO.   So start saving money today, and in the meantime, we will continue to add new features and links to the Members area.

 

The best site to hire live music online in Central Iowa is – well, actually, it’s ours.  Your group will gain credibility if you provide more information to shoppers.  So if you haven’t sent in a Profile (description) of your group – what exactly are you waiting for?  Pictures, audio files – you can post them as well, and it’s all included in your membership.  Cassette tapes can be converted to digital files if that’s what you have – contact the Local if you have questions.  Send your submissions to Local75@afm.org.
